WRDW000029 - Dominguez Gap Spreading Grounds West Basin Percolation Enhancement Project
Excavation in the west basin of the SG to remove the clogging clay layer, which is expected to substantially increase the percolation rate. The cut will range from 4- to 11-feet deep along the bottom of the basin. Vegetation below the high water mark in the basin will also need to be removed prior to excavation.
