Wastewater Outfall Repair Project
Notice is hereby given that the Petersburg Borough will receive sealed bids for the Wastewater Outfall Repair Project. The purpose of this project is to replace the broken section of discharge pipe with approximately 64.5 linear feet of High Density Polyethylene pipe, concrete anchors, and a flapper gate valve.
Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation has issued Approval to Construct. Army Corps of Engineer Nationwide Permit is in process.
The estimated construction cost for the base bid is between $200,000 and $250,000. All work must be completed by October 31, 2026.
All bids must be electronically submitted through Bidexpress.com no later than 2:00pm prevailing time on Friday, June 5, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Petersburg Standard Specifications (CPSS) are available for an additional fee of $60.00 made payable to the Petersburg Borough or available for free on the Borough's website, https://www.petersburgak.gov/publicworks/page/petersburg-borough-standard-specifications. Additional charges will be required for special handling or delivery of the documents by means other than first class mail. All documents may be obtained at the Public Works office.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check made payable to the Petersburg Borough in the amount of ten percent of the total bid price.
The Petersburg Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the Borough.
