Fiber to the Home - Year 1 - Area 2
The proposed work includes the installation of new fiber optic infrastructure, including approximately 20,000 lineal feet of 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit via horizontal directional drilling, 22,600 lineal feet of 2 x 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit (2 parallel conduit runs pulled together) via horizontal directional drilling, 7,050 lineal feet of new aerial fiber, approximately 72,300 lineal fiber of fiber optic cable (various strand count), the placement of underground fiber vaults and handholes, and the subsequent fiber optic cable installation in the City of Hudson, Ohio. Bidders are required to provide a price for Labor Only as well as an alternate bid for Labor and Material.

Terex Road Resurfacing (PID 112743)
The proposed work consists of the resurfacing of 1.1 miles of Terex Road from Londonairy Blvd. to Barlow Road in the City of Hudson, Ohio.
Disadvantaged Business (DBE) Requirement. DBE participation goals (Subcontracts, materials, supplies) have been set on this project for those certified as DBEs in accordance with the TEA-21 (1998) and 49 CFR, Part 26, and qualified to bid with ODOT under Chapter 5525 of the Ohio Revised Code (O.R.C.).” At the beginning following the project identification the DBE goal designation is written, i.e. DBE Goal: 7%.
