Fiber to the Home - Year 1 - Area 2
The proposed work includes the installation of new fiber optic infrastructure, including approximately 20,000 lineal feet of 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit via horizontal directional drilling, 22,600 lineal feet of 2 x 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit (2 parallel conduit runs pulled together) via horizontal directional drilling, 7,050 lineal feet of new aerial fiber, approximately 72,300 lineal fiber of fiber optic cable (various strand count), the placement of underground fiber vaults and handholes, and the subsequent fiber optic cable installation in the City of Hudson, Ohio. FAILURE TO APPEAR BY THE START OF THE SCHEDULED PRE-BID MEETING, WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF ANY COSTS OF THE CONTRACT BID DOCUMENTS/IMPROVEMENT PLANS PAID BY THE BIDDER, NO FUTURE ADDENDUM NOTICES WILL BE GIVEN ON THE PROJECT, AND THE CONTRACTOR WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO SUBMIT A BID FOR THE PROJECT. College Street and Hudson Street Pedestrian Signal Pole Procurement
The purchase will consist of the purchase of eight (8) rectangular flashing beacon (RRFB) pedestal shafts and bases. The RRFB’s will mount on a standard 4.5-inch OD aluminum pedestal pole with breakaway transformer base. A fourteen (14) foot pole shale be provided. Pole and base manufacturer shall be listed on ODOT’s Qualified Products List. The pole, base, and all exposed hardware shall be painted “matte” black in accordance with the specifications contained herein. The poles and bases shall meet the requirements set forth in ODOT Standard Construction Drawings TC-83.20 and HL-10.13. Equipment to be stored by Supplier until requested for delivery to the College Street and Hudson Street Crosswalk Enhancement Project.
