The Kenai Peninsula Borough's Purchasing and Contracting Department provides support and service to the various entities of the Borough. The department's objectives are to obtain materials, equipment, and/or services in a timely, cost effective manner, and at the best value to the Borough. We provide all departments and service areas of the Borough with clear guidance as it pertains to purchasing policies and procedures, and ensure that appropriations are used wisely and in the best interest of the Borough while preserving the integrity and fairness of the competitive process.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for ITB25-024 K-Beach Elementary School Boiler Replacement. The project consists of providing all labor and materials to demo and replace two existing boilers and domestic hot water system and controls per contract documents. Work may begin first week in June 2025. An escorted site visit has been scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Kalifornsky Beach Elementary School, 1049 E Poppy Lane, Soldotna, Alaska. No questions will be answered during this site visit. All questions will need to be emailed to purchasing@kpb.us which will be answered in a future addendum.
