The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to develop a public relations campaign promoting the volunteer firefighters program. The campaign should consider best practices developed by the National Volunteer Fire Council and the "Make Me A Firefighter" strategies. This project shall be funded in part through the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services grant #C0621-540-H, a federal pass-thru grant, the full and complete terms and provisions of which shall be incorporated by this reference in the RFP and in the covered transaction. Federal funds for this project are identified by the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) #93.323, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for Infectious Diseases.” The federal administrative regulations for contractual agreements are cited in 2 CFR 200 and 45 CFR Part 75 as excerpted.
