The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough to provide comprehensive design services for the replacement and relocation of the generators and essential electrical systems at the South Peninsula Hospital (SPH). The objective of this project is to upgrade and modernize the existing infrastructure by replacing the current generators and updating all associated control systems, which have reached the end of their operational lifespan. The project consists of Providing all labor, equipment and materials for the demolition and disposal of the facility located at 47010 Sterling Highway, Soldotna, Alaska. A pre-bid conference will be held at the building site location across from Central Peninsula Landfill on April 26, 2022 at 10:30 am. Attendance at the pre-bid is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates. RFP22-022 READY SET GO! PREPAREDNESS CAMPAIGN
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to develop a local preparedness campaign that is based upon an all-hazard approach that addresses natural and human disasters. The campaign should consider proven tenets from the national Ready Set Go! Program standards developed by the International Fire Chiefs Association, Federal Emergency Management Agency, the National Weather Service and the CDC Ready Set Go! Travel Safety Program. This project shall be funded in part through the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services grant #C0621-540-H, a federal pass-thru grant, the full and complete terms and provisions of which shall be incorporated by this reference in the RFP and in the covered transaction.
