RFP22-014 SIREN WARNING NOTIFICATION SYSTEM ASSESSMENT
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough for an assessment of the Borough’s Siren Warning System. The intent of the Siren Warning System is to provide warning tones and messages that inform citizens of emergencies and life-safety events that are transpiring. As such, submitted proposals will be reviewed and contract awarded to the firm that best embodies a robust and thorough knowledge of multiple platforms, equipment, technologies, and siren warning system vendors. This project shall be funded in full through the Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management “State Homeland Security Program,” a federal pass-thru grant, the full and complete terms and provisions of which shall be incorporated by this reference in the RFP and in the covered transaction. Federal funds for this project are identified by the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) #97.067 U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency. The federal program regulations 2 CFR 200, as applicable to the contractor, may be found online at https://ecfr.gov, Title 2 – Grants and Agreements. ITB22-025 STERILE RADIO PHARMACEUTICALS PROCESSING ROOM
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for the Central Peninsula Hospital Radiopharmaceuticals Processing Room. The project consists of the following: Renovation of interior space at Central Peninsula Hospital to construct new sterile radiopharmaceuticals processing room. Work includes architectural, mechanical and electrical modifications. A pre-bid conference will be held at Central Peninsula Hospital, 250 Hospital Place, Main Entrance, Soldotna, Alaska on December 1, 2021, 10:00 AM. Attendance at the pre-bid is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds.

ITB22-023 Central Peninsula Landfill Brush Burning 2021
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for ITB22-023 Central Peninsula Landfill (CPL) Brush Burning Project 2021. The project consists of the following: Provide all labor, materials and equipment to open burn approximately 3,700 tons of slash and land clearing debris located at the Central Peninsula Landfill. Burning is expected to take place 24 hours per day, 7 days per week until all is burned and pile(s) is/are extinguished. A pre-bid conference will be held at 47140 East Poppy Lane, Soldotna, Alaska, on November 16, 2021, at 10:00 AM. This will be followed by a site visit at CPL. Attendance at the pre-bid and site visit is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. ITB22-009 PURCHASE OF CALCIUM CHLORIDE - FY2022
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough to purchase an estimated 1,486,160 pounds of Anhydrous Calcium Chloride, 94 –97% mini pellets, industrial grade, and must be in no less than 2,000 pound bags and no more than 2,700 pound bags. Bags must have a bottom discharge chute for easy release of the product. The mini pellets must meet the classification of Anhydrous Calcium Chloride Type S, Grade 3, Class B, according to the ASTM D-98 and AASHTO M 144 requirement of calcium chloride purity. A pre-bid conference will be held at 47140 E. Poppy Lane on November 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Attendance at the pre-bid is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
