The scope of work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to perform summer and winter road maintenance. The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for ITB22-039 Salmon Creek Channel Excavation & Embankment Maintenance. The project consists of the following: Restoration of the Salmon Creek channel and diversion embankment. Heavy equipment will be used to extract unclassified excavation material from the active channel of the creek along 1,250 feet in length. The gravel embankment will be restored along 1,250 feet of project right from station 15+50-28+00. The channel will be excavated and embankment restored as designed in the Seward-Bear Creek Flood Service Area Salmon Creek Channel Survey & Extraction Design 2021 plans. A pre-bid conference will be held at Bear Creek Fire Station, Mile 5.5 Seward Highway, Seward, Alaska Alaska on March 30, 2022 at 12:00 Noon. Attendance at the pre-bid is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates.
