The Kenai Peninsula Borough's Purchasing and Contracting Department provides support and service to the various entities of the Borough. The department's objectives are to obtain materials, equipment, and/or services in a timely, cost effective manner, and at the best value to the Borough. We provide all departments and service areas of the Borough with clear guidance as it pertains to purchasing policies and procedures, and ensure that appropriations are used wisely and in the best interest of the Borough while preserving the integrity and fairness of the competitive process.

RFP20-013 FLOOD HAZARD ANALYSES SEWARD MAPPED FLOOD DATA AREA
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough to provide flood hazard mapping for regulating future development in known flood hazard areas. Project consists of analyzing, processing and delivering to the KPB/ Seward-Bear Creek Flood Service Area updated flood hazard mapping in three areas of interest covering approximately 1,160 acres within the Seward Mapped Flood Data Area. Analyses will include new and updated modeling of existing and future conditions on alluvial fans, flow paths behind erodible gravel embankments, and flood depth grids. A pre-proposal web conference will be held online on May 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Attendance at the pre-proposal web conference is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
