The Kenai Peninsula Borough's Purchasing and Contracting Department provides support and service to the various entities of the Borough. The department's objectives are to obtain materials, equipment, and/or services in a timely, cost effective manner, and at the best value to the Borough. We provide all departments and service areas of the Borough with clear guidance as it pertains to purchasing policies and procedures, and ensure that appropriations are used wisely and in the best interest of the Borough while preserving the integrity and fairness of the competitive process.

The project consists of the following: Renovation of a 2,600 sq. ft. CT scanning suite at the South Peninsula Hospital Imaging Department. The project will accommodate the removal of the existing CT machine and the renovation of the department to improve services and operational needs. ITB21-001 KALEIDOSCOPE FLOORING REPLACEMENT
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough to ITB21-001 Kaleidoscope Flooring Replacement. The project consists of the following: Demo and removal of approximately 19,750 square feet of broadloom carpet, 2,086 square feet of vinyl flooring, installed on an asbestos free concrete substrate, and 3,500 lineal feet of rubber cove base. Furnish and install approximately 19,750 square feet of new carpet tiles, approximately 2,086 square feet of new luxury vinyl or rubber flooring tiles, and approximately 3,500 lineal feet of new rubber matte black cove base. Contractor will be responsible for disposing of all waste materials off site. Owner will take care of all moving and replacement of furniture.
