This five (5) year contract will be for site management of a KPB gravel source located off Basargin Road and approximately 3 miles north of Mile 19 East End Road, to serve the general public, governmental agencies, and KPB Road Maintenance. Services involve annual management plan preparation, site expansion, mining operations, water and sediment management, access route maintenance, seasonal closure, measurement of materials, record keeping and reporting, and identifying areas to be reclaimed. The improvements include but are not limited to approximately 6,000 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 13,000 cubic yard of type I borrow, 1,700 tons of Type IIA AC pavement, storm sewer, curb and gutter, sidewalks, lighting, and other associated upgrades.
