Former Water Treatment Plant - Utility Abandonment
This project will include the removal and abandonment of the existing underground utilities located at the City of Marysville’s Former Water Treatment Plant at 409 N. Main Street. Existing underground utilities will either be abandoned with flowable controlled density fill (FCDF) or completely removed as part of this project. Approximately 2,850 feet of existing utilities will be abandoned with FCDF and approximately 2,375 feet of existing utilities will be completely removed. Minor grading will be required to provide positive drainage upon completion of existing utility abandonment and removal. Additionally the existing clear well will be removed to one (1) foot below grade and filled with compacted granular backfill.
The Bidding Documents are available online at www.bidexpress.com. The City has adopted the electronic bidding process in an effort to make the bidding process more efficient and cost effective for both the contractor and the City.
There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting held at City Hall, 209 South Main Street, Marysville, Ohio on August 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Following the Pre-Bid Meeting, prospective Bidders are encouraged to inspect the project area and existing facilities.
