Ties shall be new, creosote treated, Grade 5 hardwood and 100% end plated. Cost of tie to include freight to the Port of Lake Charles, 150 Marine Street, Lake Charles, LA 70601. Prices are to be held for (1) year from the date of award.

2018 Idlers
Idlers shall be CEMA D with an external sealing system, have sealed bearings with grease, shall have a minimum of 1” solid steel shaft, and shall be a minimum of 9 gauge steel, Martin brand or equal. If an alternate brand is quoted, you must attach a separate sheet listing all deviations, and the specification sheet of brand quoted, is requested with bid. All freight shall be included with unit cost. Prices are to be held for (1) year from date of award. Idlers will be purchased in various quantities as needed with freight included. The District reserves the right to make a determination as to the quality of the deviation.
