UNI Rider Hall NE Entrance Canopy
This project located on the NE side of Rider Hall will provide a much needed new entrance canopy for this location. The existing canopy has been removed. The new canopy will have new exposed structural steel, an EPDM roof membrane and cable tie backs to the existing wall. Existing brick masonry will be patched back to match the existing construction.

Hagemann Hall and Hagemann and Rider Skywalk Roof Replacement
Remove existing rock ballast and EPDM membrane, remove existing insulation (except for Roof Area 4), adhere/mechanically attach new insulation, adhere new coverboard and install new adhered Fleecebacked KEE membrane.

UNI-Dome Fabric Roof Replacement
Replacement of the existing fabric roof with a new PTFE fiberglass membrane while keeping the existing cable and other existing fabric support structure. In addition to the roof replacement, a new fall protection system is to be installed to provide access to all roof levels. The existing waterproofing at entrance canopies, lower & upper gutter, ring beam and cupola is to be replaced or repaired with new waterproofing.

Jennings Courts Fiber Optic Installation
This project will install buried conduits from the existing fiber in-ground box to the Jennings Courts apartments for the installation of fiber optic cables to support UNI data for WiFi. 120V power will also be provided for the IT swtiches.

Campanile Carillon Renovation
Complete renovation of the existing carillon instrument within the Campanile. Design and construction for this scope of work will be provided by the University of Northern Iowa via a contract with the Verdin Company. Ancillary “non-bell” project scope includes: installation of a new stair from the clock floor up to the playing room floor, new belfry access hatch, acoustical upgrades at the playing room, structural modifications to the playing room floor, upgrade of power requirements, upgrade of lighting requirements, adding controls for heating and ventilation and IT rough in for a future camera feed.

Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center Great Hall Orchestra Level Seating Replacement
Stripping and waxing of existing concrete floor, cut in new trenches for cable management, and replacement and leveling of existing orchestra pit stage floor. The removal and replacement of fixed seating shall be by the owner under separate contract. The bidding contractor is to coordinate with the owner's representative.
