Substation #5 Testing and Commissioning
The City of Hamilton is requesting the submission of proposals, for the furnishing of all labor, apparatus, testing equipment, expendable tools and equipment, and all other services required for the electrical and mechanical acceptance testing and commissioning Work required for placing the Municipal Electric System of the City of Hamilton, Ohio new Substation No. 5 into service. The electrical equipment to be placed into service includes the following: two (2) 132/13.8kV 25MVA transformers, 138 kV steel substation structures and associated equipment, three (3) 145 kV circuit breakers, 15 kV indoor thirteen (13) section switchgear with relaying, five (5) protective relay and control panels, SCADA RTU and bus duct associated with the prefabricated building vendor. Test and commission the grounding, and other related equipment and circuits to establish a complete and functional substation. The contractor shall be NETA certified.
