The City of Sidney is seeking bids from qualified electrical contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, permits, inspections, coordination, and incidental items necessary to remove the existing basketball court lighting system and construct a complete new lighting and electrical service installation at Humphrey Park, 600 Buckeye Avenue, Sidney, Ohio.
The Contractor shall provide a separate alternate bid price to furnish all labor and materials for the installation of one (1) 100-watt LED cobra head style night light on one of the newly installed basketball poles.
The project shall be completed on a turnkey basis and shall result in a fully operational lighting system ready for use by the City.
A pre-bid meeting is NOT scheduled. Site visits may be coordinated by contacting Jim Heuing, Parks Dept. Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at 937-498-8155.
The project will require the use of State of Ohio prevailing wage rates for Building Construction ONLY if the bid exceeds the threshold amount of $75,000.
