The overall mission of the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works is to plan, design, construct, operate and maintain the County infrastructure, which includes public roads, transportation systems, bridges, water, wastewater, channel maintenance and solid waste disposal systems of the County, in order to best serve the interests of the people. These systems are maintained to protect the health and welfare of the public and the County’s financial investments. Public Works also provides vehicle support for the County, including procurement support, heavy and light vehicle maintenance and repair, and daily rental services.

The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests technical proposals from qualified consultants to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals (RFP) – SJCDPW-RFP-26-05. The selected CONSULTANT will perform professional and technical engineering services for the proposed Frazier Road Bridge 29C-272 Replacement (PROJECT). The selected CONSULTANT will be the highest-ranking CONSULTANT that has successfully negotiated the terms for award of a consultant services agreement. The selected CONSULTANT or team will be requested to enter into a consultant services agreement with San Joaquin County. The PROJECT is locally funded. All work shall comply with the County Policies, the Local Assistance Procedure Manual and the most recent guidelines for the Federal Highway Bridge Program. The requested professional design engineering services shall include, but will not be limited to, the following: Project Management, Project Surveying, Mapping and Control, Evaluation of Bridge Type Selection/Roadway Alignment, Public Outreach Program, Geotechnical Analysis Report, CEAQ Approval, Hydraulic and Hydrology Analysis, Permitting Compliance, Utility Coordination and Relocation Plan, Right-of-Way Engineering, Plans, Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate (PS&E), and Bidding and Post Award Assistance services for the PROJECT. The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (County) requests technical proposals from qualified consultants (CONSULTANT) to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals (RFP) – SJCDPW-RFP-26-06. Selected CONSULTANT will perform professional and technical services for the proposed North San Joaquin Area Local Floodplain Delineation (PROJECT). The selected CONSULTANT will be the highest-ranked CONSULTANT that has successfully negotiated the terms for award of a consultant services agreement. The selected CONSULTANT or team will be requested to enter into a consultant services agreement with San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (SJCFCWCD) for the PROJECT. The San Joaquin County Public Works Department, acting as staff for the SJCFCWCD, will serve as contract administrators. All work shall comply with the County Policies, and meet the requirements of the State of California Department of Water Resources (DWR) Regulations. CONSULTANT will carry out studies and map local flood hazard areas and remap historic flooding the PROJECT area. County currently maps historic flood boundaries from floods that occurred in 1955 and 1958. However, these maps are rough digitizations and are approximations of such areas. Furthermore, flood control, water storage, and land development constructed upstream of the watershed since 1955 and 1958 period have altered the boundaries of these historic flooding areas. The PROJECT also intends to remedy deficiencies of existing drainage facilities and assess future improvements. The PROJECT will be carried out in two phases: Phase 1 will focus on remapping historical flood areas in the North San Joaquin area while Phase 2 will focus on remapping in the South San Joaquin area. The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests technical proposals from qualified consulting firms to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals – SJCDPW-RFP-21-05. The selected Consultant (CONSULTANT) will perform professional and technical engineering services for the proposed Escalon-Bellota Road Bridge (No. 29C-051) over Mormon Slough Replacement Project (PROJECT). The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works Community Infrastructure Engineering Division (County) is requesting proposals from consultants to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals – SJCDPW-RFP-21-B. The County will select two consultants for the proposed design of Lincoln Village and Colonial Heights Maintenance District Water Main Replacement Project Phase 1 (Project). The highest ranked Consultant will provide design engineering services for the Lincoln Village Maintenance District. The second ranked Consultant will provide design engineering services for the Colonial Heights Maintenance District.
