The work is located in the east and the northeast of the City of Manteca. The work, in general, consists of repairing and resurfacing approximately 1.0 mile of roadway with asphalt concrete. Base Estimate Range between $436,000 and $537,000

The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from innovative engineering consulting firms for On-Call Bridge Engineering Services in support of the San Joaquin County Highway Bridge Program and local Bridge Preventive Maintenance Program. This procurement will be comprised of evaluation of SOQs and presentation-interviews with select firms if warranted as described in this Request For Qualifications (RFQ). SJCDPW intends to establish a list of up to three (3) consulting firms to provide support services on an as-needed basis for various bridge projects that become available over the next two (2) years. SJCDPW may also elect to extend the period for new project assignments to a third year. Duration, scope, and scheduling of services will vary with specific project assignments. At the time of project assignment, County will enter into a project specific Independent Consultant Agreement (Agreement). The amount of work for each project specific Agreement will be varied but will not exceed $200,000 annually per consultant. The method of payment for task orders under the On Call Agreement will be actual cost plus fixed fee. The deadline for submitting qualifications to SJCDPW will be no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026. SJCDPW’s standard business practice strives to ensure that a consultant’s professional qualifications meet the needs and services to be performed, the payment method is appropriate, and the cost is fair and reasonable to the public agency.
