The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests technical proposals from qualified consultants (CONSULTANT) to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals – SJCDPW-RFP-26-02. The selected CONSULTANT will perform professional and technical engineering services for the proposed Bridge Approach Railings Replacement – Phase III Project (PROJECT). The selected CONSULTANT will be the highest-ranking CONSULTANT that has successfully negotiated the terms for award of a consultant services agreement. The selected CONSULTANT or team will be requested to enter into a consultant services agreement with San Joaquin County (County). The PROJECT is federally funded using Highway Safety Improvement Program with a local match. All work shall comply with the County Policies, the Local Assistance Procedure Manual and the most recent guidelines for the Federal Highway Bridge Program. The requested professional design engineering services shall include, but will not be limited to, the following: Project Management, Project Surveying, Mapping and Control, Public Outreach Program, Environmental Clearance, Utility Coordination and Relocation Plan, Plans, Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate (PS&E), and Bidding and Post Award Assistance services for the PROJECT.
