OSU-250046 Evans Lab 1969 Addition Demolition
Complete demolition of north wing of Evans Lab, the 1969 (northern most) addition of the facility. The remaining site will become temporary green space.
Utilities serving adjacent wings will be maintained, including but not limited to natural gas, heating and domestic hot water, steam, domestic cold water, electric, fire alarm and ERRCS systems, and will be capped/terminated at appropriate locations to allow for re-use in subsequent project phases.
A metal panel wall enclosure and interior hollow metal doors will be added to the remaining facility.

This project will address renovations to Scott Labs rooms W360 and W363 for use with hazardous gases. The renovation will include architectural renovations to provide a 1 hour “control area” for the researcher’s use. Modifications required include door and frame replacement, drywall, paint, and sealing modifications. Mechanically, the project will re-work exhaust devices in both rooms and add point-of-use snorkel exhaust.
