The renovation of OSU Converse Hall includes a multi-floor restroom renovation including an accessible restroom in the basement, changing room, and partial renovation of an office suite with a kitchenette.

The Ohio State University is seeking a general contractor to execute the renovation and conversion of a classroom space into a forensic anthropology laboratory. The renovation will include the removal/ abatement of ACM materials, the augmentation of the space surfaces to allow for cleaning, installation of requisite fixed and mobile dry and wet equipment. Plumbing scope includes backflow prevention, coring concrete for floor drains, and necessary sanitary and supply distribution piping to the sink. Mechanically, the project will remove the space from building air, and tie the space into the existing DOAS air handler. A capture hood, ductwork to a new roof-mounted exhaust fan, as well as air balancing are also included in the project scope. Controls modifications are included. Electrical modifications to supply the equipment include the addition of a sub-panel, and distribution circuiting in the space. Additionally, electrical work in the penthouse to feed the exhaust fan VFD, and smoke and fire separation at the floor are included.

Renovation of the existing 6th floor of the patient tower: Approximately 10,450 square feet of patient rooms, corridors, nurses’ station and accessory functions. Patient rooms and corridors include primarily refresh, while the center core area will be reconfigured with associated mechanical, plumbing, electrical and life safety items.

Replace main electrical distribution equipment in The Ohio State University’s Caldwell Laboratory Building and Cockins Hall Building including switchboards and panelboards, upgrade egress lighting systems, and provide circuit tracing and receptacle replacement.

This project will complete a full replacement of the CCTV system at The Ohio State University Ohio Union Building.
