OSU-230105 Fire System Renovations FY23 24 BP 01
This project is a fire alarm upgrade at Orton Hall and 1315 Kinnear Rd. The project includes the installation of a new addressable / programmable ADA compliant voice fire alarm system in each building. The systems will include all new panels, devices, pathways and wiring. The existing fire alarms systems in each building will be removed completely. Each building will be provided with a new DAS-ERRS system.

Outpatient Care East is a three-story outpatient facility on Taylor Ave in Columbus, OH. This project will refresh the 3rd floor common spaces, 3rd floor public bathrooms, and Suite 3068.
This project will refresh the common hallways, the lobby, suite 3068, and other spaces by updating finishes and replacing existing lighting with new LED fixtures. It will also refresh the public bathrooms by updating the finishes and updating the existing fixtures.

This project will renovate about 3,000 SF of existing space on the first floor of Newton Hall for Research Labs for the College of Nursing. Their current space is in the basement of the building so moving the Labs to the first floor will provide much more visibility. The required spaces will include a Flexible Laboratory, Tissue Culture Laboratory, Work Area, Freezer Rooms, Imaging Room, and Director’s Office.
