OSU-250046 Evans Lab 1969 Addition Demolition
Complete demolition of north wing of Evans Lab, the 1969 (northern most) addition of the facility. The remaining site will become temporary green space.
Utilities serving adjacent wings will be maintained, including but not limited to natural gas, heating and domestic hot water, steam, domestic cold water, electric, fire alarm and ERRCS systems, and will be capped/terminated at appropriate locations to allow for re-use in subsequent project phases.
A metal panel wall enclosure and interior hollow metal doors will be added to the remaining facility.

Renovate approximately 455 SF of toilet rooms on the first floor of Arps Hall located at 1945 N. High Street in Columbus, Ohio. The project scope includes Rooms 168T, and a combination of 178T and 180T. The scope of the renovations will reconfigure the existing toilet rooms identified above: to transform the current Women’s toilet room 168T into a new ADA compliant Multi-User Men’s Toilet Room and to combined Rooms of 178T a current Women’s toilet room and 180T a current Men’s toilet room into a new ADA compliant Multi-User Women’s Toilet Room. The existing janitor’s closet, Room 180J, will also be modified.

OSU Wooster: This project encompasses 3 individual sites that help to connect the CFAES Wooster campus to the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center and Agricultural Technical Institute. A proposed 5-foot concrete walk will connect the Skou parking lot to the ATI administration building (site 1) and will include grading, pavement removal, extension of existing storm pipe, addition of ADA ramps and landscape. A proposed 10-foot asphalt multi-use path will connect the residential area to both the Skou lot (site 2) and the new science building (site 3), this work will include pavement removal, grading, addition of a catch basin, addition of ADA ramps, and landscape.

The work consists of Enabling work for the installation of a 1.2 GHz NMR (magnet) in the existing basement NMR Lab, including:
• Temporary removal of portions of the existing suspended ACT ceiling and light fixtures above the future NMR.
• Installation of electromagnetic shielding on Unistrut above the future NMR.
• Installation of a secondary lower layer of Unistrut to support relocated electrical conduit, junction boxes and ACT ceiling below the shielding.
• Temporary removal of 2 doors and an overhead coiling door to allow for delivery and installation of the magnet (NMR) by others.
• Installation of an access platform around the existing magnet once it is installed by others.
