Statements of Qualifications are requested from General Contractors for small construction projects. These projects may involve, but are not limited to, one or several of the following:

The project includes work on the first floor of the Riffe Building to accommodate a new Helium recovery system. Work within Riffe Building is primarily located within the first floor, room R145. Work includes the selective demolition of existing elements to fully renovate approximately 300 sf of an existing laboratory into a new equipment room with new mezzanine level. Limited work also occurs on upper levels and at the roof to accommodate new mechanical equipment and piping pathways. OSU-230303, Bevis - Vestibular Lab Build Out
The project is the renovation of an existing research lab into a vestibular lab. The area of construction is approximately 1,180 square feet. The work consists of the demolition of a small section of corridor wall, flooring, ceiling, section of the slab on grade, and the associated fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical systems. The new work will consist of creating a Work Area, MOOG Room (for testing equipment), and a walking path. For the MOOG room, it is required to remove a section of the slab on grade and repour a thicker slab on grade to resist the forces of the equipment. The new work will entail new partitions, doors and frames, casework, ceilings, finishes in the new OSUWMC finish standards, and the associated plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems.
