OSU-190066 - REBID OSU HVAC Replacements FY 2019 – Phase 2, Rebid This project will replace boilers, air system distribution or components, building controls, exhaust, and primary heating sources. Arps Hall: Removal of building chillers and connection to campus chilled water loop. Drinko Hall: Replacement of existing building chillers, cooling towers, pumps, controls. Modification of AHU controls and outside air arrangement. Addition of DOAS unit and associated ductwork, etc. Blankenship Hall: Replacement of 5 packaged rooftop units and terminal box DDC controls Derby Hall: Replacement of terminal box DDC controls

This project will make various site improvements across the Columbus campus.

Fred Taylor drive and Carmack Court Improvements, OSU Columbus Campus, Franklin County, Ohio

Work includes removal of existing membrane roofing, insulation, and associated roof flashings where units have been removed, located at Mendenhall Lab at The Ohio State University’s Columbus Campus, Columbus Ohio 43210.

Replacement of 2 existing natural gas firetube boilers with 3 Aerco condensing boilers to match one existing Aerco condensing boiler. New boiler plant to be piped in a primary/secondary loop configuration. Each new boiler will have a new inline circulating pump. New DDC temperature controls will be installed for monitoring and control of new HVAC equipment.
