Bevis Hall Boiler Replacement Phase 2

Exterior Concrete repairs; removal and replacement of existing concrete coating; removal and replacement of existing joint sealants; spot tuckpointing/repairs to masonry.

Project consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, with all ways and means necessary to replace the existing MRI equipment with a new equipment manufactured by Siemens Medical Solutions. Work includes but is not limited to removal of existing equipment, removal of existing chiller and piping and installation of new chiller and piping, addition of quench vent cap, partial removal of existing abandoned quench vent, patch and repair as required including roof doghouse, new humidification system, modifications to mechanical and electrical as shown throughout the drawings and specifications.

Project consists of interior renovation of an existing hospital. Scope of work includes new finishes, minor wall demolition, minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Primary MEP systems are existing to remain. Specific Project Experience Requirement: All bidders are required to have previous experience with ICU renovations. All contractors and sub-contractors shall be required to be fully badged prior to commencement of any work. All contractors are subject to rules and regulations set forth by the Wexner Medical Center Standards found in Division 1 of the project manual.

Base Bid Work consists of replacement of two steam-fired domestic hot water heaters with two gas-fired domestic hot water heaters. This work shall be done without interrupting supply of domestic hot water to the building. Alternate 1 Work consists of providing a desuperheater system to cool superheated steam to saturated temperature for use in autoclaves and condensate pumps. This work shall be done with minimal interruption of steam supply.
