Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and may obtain hard copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described above. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Pre-bid Conference:
A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Zeeland Clean Water Plant, 350 Rich Avenue, Zeeland, Michigan 49464. It is requested that contractors call ahead to reserve a time slot during this period to reduce the total number of people in the gathering due to COVID 19 precautions. Please call Doug Engelsman at 616.772.0870 to set up a time. All general contractors are required to attend and subcontractors are encouraged to attend. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
All Proposals shall be made in accordance with Bidding Documents.
A Proposal Guarantee payable to the City of Zeeland, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders.
The right is reserved by the City of Zeeland to accept any Proposal, reject any or all Proposals, and to waive informalities in bidding when it is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Zeeland.
