The purpose of this work is to replace the existing swimming pool with new improved accessibility, drainage, and piping. The estimated project cost is $ 2.5 million The work is to be accomplished within 180 calendar days of a notice to proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000 per day will be assessed if the work has not been completed in accordance with the provisions of the contract within the time specified (as extended by any extension of time granted in accordance with the contract provisions). Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation (MassDOT) Highway Division in Recreational Facilities to bid on the above project. The Proposed contract includes a requirement of 6% for MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) 10% for WBE (Women Business Enterprise) and 3% VOBE requirement (Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise). The applicable local minority workforce utilization percentage is a minimum goal of 15.3%. The applicable local women workforce utilization percentage is a minimum goal of 6.9%. Savoy Mountain State Forest Campground Comfort Station Improvements 313 Central Shaft Road, Florida, MA 01247 This project scope is to replace the existing comfort Station of similar size with a new pre-designed, prefabricated comfort station, including a cast-in-place foundation system. The proposed building should have a sloped roof and have a minimum eight-foot ceiling height and shall be constructed of durable materials, preference is for cast concrete walls with a finish texture(s) compatible with a forest setting. The Contractor shall disconnect the existing comfort station and connect the new comfort station to existing site utilities. The applicable building, plumbing and electrical codes shall apply. The estimated project: $1,000,000 The work is to be accomplished within 240 calendar days of a notice to proceed.
