Windsor Park Elevated Water Storage Tank Altitude Valve Replacement
The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive bids for the Windsor Park Elevated Water Storage Tank Altitude Valve Replacement via Bid Express, until 11:00 AM local time on October 6, 2023. Grove City will not accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Located within the City of Grove City, the Windsor Park elevated water storage tank is controlled through the use of an altitude valve located in a underground vault at the base of the tank. The valve has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement. The project shall include replacement of the altitude valve, modifications to the existing vault, and other minor modifications associated with the setting. All work is expected to be completed at ground level. The estimated cost of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications is: Base Bid: $ 150,000.00

Fryer Park Water Tank Repainting & Modifications
Work shall generally include: spot preparation of the interior dry coating system and a full application of an overcoat on the interior dry surfaces excluding the bottom of the bowl, an abrasive blast preparation and full coating of the exterior bottom of the bowl, two spot coating repairs in the interior wet and modification of the tank drain line. The subject tank is a 1.25 MG steel-fluted column elevated water storage tank. • Interior Dry (Excluding the bottom of the bowl): Spot power tool cleaning of failed coatings will be completed, a primer shall be applied to the spot prepared areas and the entirety of the interior dry surface shall then receive a single overcoat. This work shall only occur above the condensate ceiling level. • Interior Dry – Bottom of the bowl: Abrasive blast cleaning to SSPC-SP6; 1.0 mil angular profile and application of a primer and finish coat for the entirety of the bowl exterior. • Interior Wet – Localized repair of two failed areas through power tool preparation and spot coatings. • Tank Drain Line Modification: Replacement of the existing 2” mud/drain valve with a 4” drain valve and replacement of the connecting drain pipe with a 3” pipe.
