2023 Community Center Feasibility Study RFP
The City of Grove City Department of Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Park Board, wishes to conduct a Community Center Feasibility Study including an Amenities and Programming Prioritization Survey. This survey and study should be completed in a manner that provides information for the city to make informed, educated decisions about the present and future needs of our growing community. This endeavor is an opportunity to expand on previous planning efforts, clarify our citizens’ amenity, cultural programming, and recreational programming priorities and gain insight into impacts of community and recreational centers on economic development, property values, and a range of quality-of-life issues. The proposed Community Center Feasibility Study Update will be based on previous studies and planning efforts and will include the elements outlined in the following requested services. Additionally, the proposed study should have strong identification on community partnerships including (but not limited to) the Grove City YMCA, the Grove City Kids Association, Southwestern City Schools and Regional Health Care Providers.

2023 Street Maintenance Program
The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the 2023 Street Maintenance Program via Bid Express, until 1:00 p.m. local time on Mar. 29, 2023 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City will neither open nor accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Contract A • Base Bid: Over 18,000 square yards of asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs, over 22,000 square yards of asphalt reconstruction, spot and continuous curb placement, curb ramp replacement, brick crosswalk repair and other related work. • Additional Bid 1: Over 12,000 square yards of asphalt resurfacing with spot curb replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 2: Over 2,000 square yards of asphalt resurfacing and over 5,000 square yards of asphalt reconstruction with spot curb replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 3: Over 9,500 square yards of asphalt resurfacing with spot curb replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 4: Over 1,800 square yards of shared-use path asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs and over 2,000 square yards of asphalt parking lot reconstruction and other related work. • Additional Bid 5: Installation of over 1,500 square yards of new asphalt shared-use path, concrete curb ramps, removable bollards, fencing, landscaping, topsoil, seeding and other related work. • Additional Bid 6: Replacement of 2 storm headwall structures and pipe and other related work. • Additional Bid 7: Over 13,500 square feet of concrete sidewalk replacement and other related work. 2023 City Wide Hanging Baskets and Planters Maintenance
The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the 2023 City Wide Hanging Baskets and Planters Maintenance project via Bid Express, until 10:00 a.m. local time Feb. 24, 2023 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of growing and maintaining 215 annual flowering hanging baskets and from 168 to 178 planter inserts (depending on the season) City wide. Work also includes starting the hanging baskets and planter inserts as plugs in a greenhouse environment for at least 2 months prior to being installed on site, fertilizing and watering every other day (weekends and holidays as well) from the time they are installed until middle of September (spring and fall flowers will be watered by the city), installation of the baskets and inserts in May as well as removal at the end of the season, application of pesticides or flower replacement if necessary, sanitizing and storage of the empty hanging baskets during the off season.

The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the State Route 104 (Jackson Pike) 12” Waterline Extension & Shared-use Path Improvements project via Bid Express, until 11:00 a.m. local time on Apr. 8, 2022 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
