2022 Street Maintenance Program
The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the 2022 Street Maintenance Program via Bid Express, until 11:00 a.m. local time on Mar. 25, 2022 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City will neither open nor accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Contract A • Base Bid: Over 43,000 square yards of asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs, over 8,000 square yards of asphalt reconstruction, spot and continuous curb placement, curb ramp replacement, brick crosswalk repair and other related work. • Additional Bid 1: Over 22,000 square yards of asphalt resurfacing with spot and continuous curb replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 2: Over 8,000 square yards of shared-use path asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs and other related work. • Additional Bid 3: Installation of over 1,200 square yards of new asphalt and crushed limestone shared-use path, removable bollards, over 180 square yards of shared-use path asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs, topsoil, seeding and other related work. • Additional Bid 4: Installation of over 750 square yards of new asphalt shared-use path, including removal of existing concrete sidewalk, area grading, topsoil, seeding and other related work. I-71/SR665 Landscape Plant Installation
The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the I-71/SR665 Plant Landscape Installation project via Bid Express, until 11:00 a.m. local time Dec. 17, 2021 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City will neither open nor accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: This project is a redesign of existing landscape beds at the I-71/SR665 exit ramps. The new bed layout will consist of transplanted plant material and the purchase and installation of new plant material. Final landscape bed layout is provided per the attached plan. Existing trees in landscaped beds are to remain and shall not be disturbed. New plants shall have a 1 year warranty. Price shall include watering maintenance for one year to ensure the plant material remains alive and growing. No mulching will be needed as that is part of an already existing maintenance contract.

State Route 104/Jackson Pike 12" Waterline Extension & Shared Use Path Improvements
The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the State Route 104 (Jackson Pike) 12” Waterline Extension & Shared-use Path Improvements project via Bid Express, until 11:00 a.m. local time on Nov. 5, 2021 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Base Bid • The project consists of the installation of approximately 2,100 feet of 12-inch water main and associated appurtenances. Installation of the water main will require completion of a jack and bore of approximately 160 feet of a 24-inch steel casing pipe. In addition, the project includes construction of approximately 1,500 feet of asphalt shared-use path requiring substantial grading and embankment. A 95 foot-long long span prefabricated bridge structure is required to facilitate the connectivity of the shared-use path. The proposed roadway improvements will include subgrade stabilization, full depth asphalt pavement, asphalt path, concrete walks and street lighting system. • Construction of a new parking lot. • Extensive underground infrastructure including 24-inch and smaller storm sewers and manufactured water quality structures are included in the scope of the improvement. Add Alternate (Part 2) • Construction of a new roadway north of the termination of Part 1 (Base Bid) to a connection point at Tournament Way approximately 750 feet to the north. The proposed roadway improvements will include subgrade stabilization, full depth asphalt pavement, asphalt path, concrete walks, steel-backed timber guardrail, reinforced fence and street lighting system. • Extensive underground infrastructure including 18-inch and smaller storm sewers and a manufactured water quality structure are included in the scope of the improvement. • Construction of a retention pond including landscaping, washed gravel shoreline protection and stone outcroppings. • A 36’ x 12’ arched culvert spanning Patzer Ditch. The project also includes the construction of parking lots with striping and signage, access drives, and park sidewalks.
