The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Base Bid • The project consists of the installation of approximately 2,100 feet of 12-inch water main and associated appurtenances. Installation of the water main will require completion of a jack and bore of approximately 160 feet of a 24-inch steel casing pipe. In addition, the project includes construction of approximately 1,500 feet of asphalt shared-use path requiring substantial grading and embankment. A 95 foot-long long span prefabricated bridge structure is required to facilitate the connectivity of the shared-use path. The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the STRINGTOWN ROAD FLUSHING STATION via Bid Express, until 11:00 AM local time on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2021 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Base Bid • The project includes the installation of a water flushing station at the dead end of the 12-inch water main in Stringtown Road. The flushing station includes the flushing device, meter, backflow preventer, hot box, electric service, and related incidentals. Contractor is required to coordinate the service connection fees with AEP and The City of Columbus Division of Water. The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for Demorest Road Improvements, Phase 1 and Mulberry Run Sanitary Sewer Extension projects via Bid Express, until 11:00 AM local time on Friday, August 13, 2021 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City will neither open nor accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Base Bid – Contract A • Over 12,400 S.Y. of asphalt pavement roadway reconstruction, over 2,200 S.Y. of asphalt pavement resurfacing, installation of over 6,200 L.F. of concrete curb and gutter, over 20,600 S.F. of concrete sidewalk and over 162 C.Y. of asphalt shared-use path, over 4,000 L.F. of storm sewer and over 2,200 L.F. of water main including water service connections, removal and replacement of a box culvert structure and extension of a 48” pipe culvert, installation of a new traffic signal and street lighting and other related work. Alternate Bid 1 - Contract A • Installation of 1,176 linear feet of a 38”x57” arch pipe and associated manholes, in lieu of 927 feet of 12” to 24” pipe as shown in the base bid.
