Major items of work include the following: • Separation of approximately 20,000 LF of combined sewer and installation of approximately 20,000 LF of new sanitary sewer and installation of approximately 20,000 LF of new storm sewer. • Installation of approximately 18,000 LF of new waterline. • Levee filter diaphragm and new headwall for 48-inch storm relief sewer and outfall along North Fork Licking Valley River. • Reconnection of 381 water service lines. • Reconnection of 381 sanitary sewer laterals. • Disconnection of 287 residential roof downspouts. • Roadway replacement. • Streetscaping upgrades.

This Project includes 1600 lead and/or galvanized water service lines to be replaced. The work will be located within the City of Newark primarily in the areas shown on the included maps. Other services may be assigned throughout the City as needed. The City will provide the Contractor with approximately 200 signed work agreements, the Contractor will be responsible for obtaining approximately 1300 signed work agreements from property owners designated by the City. The remaining work agreements will be assigned by the City as needed for leaks throughout the city.
