The OGS Design & Construction Group (D&C) is a 600-person organization with approximately 75 licensed professional engineers and registered architects on staff. This core group uses the resources available through professional and service contracts to deliver a broad range of capital construction services. Acting as New York State's Architect, D&C has a current workload of approximately $1.3 billion in active construction projects and approximately $2 billion in design development. With approximately 70% of D&C's output contracted to the private sector, D&C depends on a strong public/private partnership to support our client agencies' core missions in serving the people of New York State.
