Job Title: Ballantrae Park - Splash Ground Renovations
The City of Dublin, Ohio will receive electronic bids from a licensed and qualified Contractor. The bid shall include all materials and labor necessary for spray ground renovations to Ballantrae Park to include water features, sculpted concrete wall, lighting, and plaza area due to the general wear and tear experienced over the years. The renovation will improve safety and remedy the persistent issue of water leakages that have been affecting the operation of the water features. as indicated in the (“Bid Documents”).
Project Scope: Project includes updating the spray nozzles, updating the water flow control systems, lighting, and equipment as necessary to ensure the water features continue to function efficiently and effectively. The project will also install centralized drains to eliminate the current drainage trenches and caps covering the water return troughs, aiming to enhance maintenance access and improve aesthetics. These updates will be strategically placed to avoid obstructing the view corridor to the public art and water features, thereby preserving the visual integrity of the park. The renovations are designed to ensure the safety and operational longevity of the water features.

Job Title: Coffman Park Lighting and Wi-Fi Infrastructure for Irish Festival
Bid Opening Location: Digital
Description of Type of Work: All materials and labor necessary to install a permanent IT and fiber network expansion in Coffman Park for use during the annual Dublin Irish Festival along with other festivals and events throughout the year. The current IT and fiber network runs from the northern shared use path (sup) to an existing light pole / IT cabinet north of the stream and adjacent to the walkway bridge to the east. The network continues along the sup on 6 temporary wood utility poles and ends just west of emerald parkway / post road intersection. An underground conduit bank connects the wood utility poles and permanent IT / fiber pull boxes feeding aerial installations of IT equipment and wireless hot spots / antennae. Temporary pole mounted nema 3r enclosures house the IT routers and gfci outlets with fiber splice enclosures and fiber slack wraps housed in the adjacent pull boxes. This project will remove the existing 6 wood utility poles and attachments along the path and replace them with 14 permanent light poles with led luminaires. Some light poles house a gfci outlet and all light poles accommodate IT equipment mounted at the top of the poles. Additional conduit and pull boxes will be installed to service all 14 light poles. New 3r enclosures are to be located in underground pull boxes and will permanently house the IT routers and gfci outlets.
Note: All IT equipment will be provided and installed by the City of Dubin’s IT Department’s contractors (not in this contract). The selected contractor only installs the infrastructure to support the equipment and coordinate with the City of Dublin’s IT Contractors to install their fiber and IT Equipment. See PROJECT NARRATIVE on plans cover sheet.

The City of Dublin, Ohio will receive electronic bids from a licensed and qualified Design / Build Contractor, Contractor and hired design professional capable of sealing drawings for permitting, or other combination that can deliver a drawing package that can obtain a building permit and then construct those improvements. The proposal / quote should include two quotes: 1. The Design and permitting of the project by a licensed professional and 2. The construction of the designed and permitted drawings, including all materials and labor necessary to repair, refurbish, and install new boardwalks at Kiwanis Park. The park is located at 6245 Riverside Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017 (Note: Property owned by the City of Columbus, Ohio). This project includes design plan and detailing for permitting, selective site clearing, minor grading at boardwalk piers, earth / rock spoils removal, concrete landings at the ends of boardwalks, asphalt paths, pressure treated wood boardwalks (add alt. using composite decking on boardwalks), native landscape planting, and site restoration. Contractor will need to work with City of Dublin / Columbus Staff throughout the project to finalize construction details and work through the environmentally sensitive areas of the site.
