2026-11 Chesterfield Avenue Storm Sewer Hazard Mitigation Grant Project
Summary: The City of Charleston, WV (the City) is soliciting bids for the installation of a new storm sewer system on Chesterfield Ave and Glenridge Road. The City of Charleston owns and operates a 30-inch storm sewer system that is no longer functioning properly. The system consists of a 30-inch corrugated metal pipe that has deteriorated and a reinforced concrete pipe that was constructed in a manner that causes sediment to accumulate in the system. This project will replace the 30-inch corrugated metal pipe and install a new storm sewer to bypass the reinforced concrete pipe that is not functioning properly. The project also includes, but is not limited to, traffic control, the installation of manholes and inlets. Note: Part or all of the funding for this contract may be provided by federal funds. The vendor must adhere to the attached Federal Funds Addendum, including the Federal Wage Rates requirements
