2026-106 (EOI) Capital Connector and FANS Route CEI Services
The City of Charleston is soliciting Expressions of Interest (“EOI” or “Proposals”) from qualified firms to provide services under two (2) separate but combined scopes of work: (1) Construction Engineering and Inspection (“CEI”) services for the Capital Connector Project along the Kanawha Boulevard East Multimodal Corridor; and (2) WVDOH Section 401.7 Verification Testing services for the City FANS Route. The purpose of this proposed project is to hire a firm to create a tree inventory for the entire city of Charleston. While most of Charleston is designated as CEJST "disadvantaged," this proposal ultimately aims to map the entire city. Charleston needs a tree inventory. A tree inventory will offer municipal government the ability to manage the city's tree species, age, size, health, location, maintenance requirements, and citizen complaints.
