The Concrete Sidewalk and Accessible Ramp Project shall consist of replacing or restoring existing concrete accessibility ramps and sidewalk throughout various locations of Charleston. All work shall be in compliance with the July 26, 2011, Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), Chapter R3: Technical Requirements. 2025-41 Chesterfield Ave. Storm Sewer Hazard Mitigation Grant Project
PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The City of Charleston, WV (the City) is soliciting bids for the installation of a new storm sewer system on Chesterfield Ave and Glenridge Road. The City of Charleston owns and operates a 30-inch storm sewer system that is no longer functioning properly. The system consists of a 30-inch corrugated metal pipe that has deteriorated and a reinforced concrete pipe that was constructed in a manner that causes sediment to accumulate in the system. This project will replace the 30-inch corrugated metal pipe and install a new storm sewer to bypass the reinforced concrete pipe that is not functioning properly. The project also includes, but is not limited to, traffic control, the installation of manholes and inlets. Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the City Engineering Office, 114 Dickinson Street, Charleston, WV 25301 on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10am. 2026-03 Pipelining Rehabilitation Project
