The Skagit Regional Health system includes two acute care hospitals, 137-bed Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon and 48-bed Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, and nearly 30 outpatient clinics serving patients in Skagit, Island and north Snohomish counties.

Skagit Valley Hospital features a full range of services including comprehensive cancer care; surgical services; a Level III Emergency Department; a well-appointed Family Birth Center; comprehensive diagnostics; and advanced heart and vascular care.

Cascade Valley Hospital features an award-winning wound care center; free-standing surgery center; a level IV Emergency Department; a well-appointed Family Birth Center; and a wide array of diagnostic imaging services.

Skagit Valley Hospital - Cath Lab #2 Renovations 300 Hospital Parkway, Mount Vernon, WA Project Description: The work includes the remodel of approximately 949 square feet of an existing Cath Lab Procedure Room and Control Room. The existing ceiling mounted Siemens cath lab unit and Berchtold medical gas/power boom will be removed by owner and new systems installed. The new systems include the ceiling mounted Philips Azurion 7 cath lab unit and Skytron medical gas/power boom which is to be installed by vendors. A new rooftop HVAC unit including reconfigured ductwork will also be installed to support Cath Lab #2. New work will also include new rubber sheet flooring, suspended GWB ceiling, Unistrut support framing system, painting, structural, mechanical, and electrical underslab power and lighting.

Cascade Valley Hospital: Mechanical Upgrades 330 S Stillaguamish Ave Arlington, WA 98223 Project Description: This project consists of upgrades to the existing campus mechanical infrastructure involving improvement to the campus central cooling systems and upgrades to building 1 central air handling systems. Improvements to the campus chilled water system includes new central air-cooled chillers, a new chiller dedicated to the cooling requirements of the surgery department, higher capacity central chilled water pumps/infrastructure, and expansion of the campus system to replace direct refrigerant based systems for improved campus wide flexibility. This project also includes upgrades to the air handling systems serving building 1 providing them with increased capacity and system flexibility to deliver environmental air. ALTERNATE NO. 1: Replacing three (3) existing DX Cooling Coils with new Chilled Water Coils and connecting them to the revised Base Bid infrastructure. ALTERNATE NO. 2: Replacing the Supply Fans in three existing Air Handling units, and equipment refurbishment of three (3) existing Exhaust Fans. ALTERNATE NO. 3: Replacing one (1) existing DX Cooling Coil with a new Chilled Water Coil and connecting it to the new Base Bid infrastructure.

ALTERNATE NO. 2: Consists of the professional cleaning of the interior of the existing air distribution system in building 1, in conjunction with the scope of work previously described.
