The Atlantic County Economic Alliance (ACEA) is a private sector directed, nonprofit economic development corporation that was established for business attraction, retention, and marketing efforts in Atlantic County. 
The mission of the ACEA is to drive economic growth and cultivate economic diversity in Atlantic County. Our core focus is to build a robust business retention program, market competitive assets to drive industry diversification, and build relationship to attract new companies and industries. The ACEA works with public and private partners in its planning work and seeks to create community partnerships to recruit, retain and promote a qualified local workforce.

A business plan for an ACY NJ air cargo operation: Research indicates that an air cargo operation at the Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) could complement the capacity of the Philadelphia International Airport Cargo City and Newark Liberty International Airport cargo operations and better serve the Southern New Jersey region. This RFP seeks to identify freight products for such growth and devise a business plan for a viable and robust air cargo future at ACY. Proposers also need to include in the plan the projected regional economic benefit of an ACY air cargo build out which would include: • An estimate of the jobs and economic impact that would result from build out of the ACY air cargo plan. • The number of construction jobs associated with building the cargo facilities and direct income estimates for construction workers. • An estimate of the number of permanent jobs that will be created along with direct income estimates for those jobs.
