The water system shall include all necessary treatment, as required by PADEP. The project will include the assembly of a water storage tank and associated telemetry. The project will also include proper abandonment of the existing six (6) groundwater wells, associated water pipes and valves, (4) sewer manholes, and sewer pipe. The project will require modifications to be made to the existing public restroom and electrical work.

Demolition of the remaining portions of the existing structure which formerly carried Charles Bailey Trail over Unnamed Tributary to East Branch White Clay Creek (15 7935 6451 7501) in White Clay Creek Preserve. The existing single span concrete slab superstructure is no longer in place as it was washed out by flooding. Only portions of the existing stone masonry abutments remain. The remnant of the washed-out superstructure is stockpiled (rubble) on the east approach. This structure will be replaced with one precast reinforced concrete box culvert with precast reinforced concrete end sections which will provide an 8-foot useable trail width; 14-foot clear span and 7-foot rise. Replacement includes Driving Surface Aggregate (DSA) – 6” Depth, rock lining, and architectural surface treatment.
Construction of 200 total linear feet of permanent timber split rail fence across the culvert.
