Major items of work include construction of access routes to the wells, using approved well plugging equipment and materials to clean out and seal the wells, along with restoring the areas after construction. Proper erosion and sediment controls must be implemented during and after construction until the sites are stabilized. The project is located in in Tyler State Park near the intersection of Stable Mill Trail and Mil Dairy Trail in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Structure Replacements Structure A: Bridge No. 09-0071 Merrill Road Over Unt To Gifford Run Structure B: Bridge No. 09-0070 Merrill Road Over Mcnerney Run Forestry District 09, Moshannon State Forest Pennsylvania Game Commission, Northcentral Region, State Game Land 34 Girard Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania Work consists of replacement of an existing corrugated metal pipe arch conveying the UNT to Gifford Run under Merrill Road with a precast box culvert. Other work includes precast concrete end sections, aprons and headwalls, rock lining architectural surface treatment, driving surface aggregate (DSA) approach roadway and guide rail. This project will also replace an existing corrugated metal pipe arch carrying McNearny Run under Merrill Road with a precast rigid frame structure. Other work includes rock lining, channel lining, architectural surface treatment, and DSA approach roadway and guide rail. Upgrade Dam Control Facilities Shikellamy State Park City of Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania Physical work on and within the blower house building shall only occur from October 2027 through April 2028. The building must remain functional and operational at all other times for the operation of the dam. Components required for the project may have long lead times. Sufficient time is built into the project schedule for these items prior to physical construction on the building. This Contract includes, but is not limited to, salvage of existing mechanical equipment, select demolition of the existing Dam Control Building, construction of a building addition and second floor, construction of a new bituminous driveway, rearrangement of blowers and compressor air piping, installation of a new electrical power system and emergency generator and replacement of the existing dam control panel.
