The City of Soldotna hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the City for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Dewatering Improvements SOLB 24-12. The project generally consists of the following: 1.Set up and operate temporary digested sludge mechanical dewatering system for use during the execution of this Contract. 2.Demolish and reconstruct portion of existing Control Building. 3.Receive and assume custody of two (2) OWNER procured Centrifuges and appurtenances. 4.Install Owner-procured centrifuges in refurbished Control Building. Provide support services for Centrifuge functional testing and startup commissioning services. 5.Furnish, install, functional test, and provide startup services, complete and functional with interconnection piping and valves, and electrical and control systems, as shown on the Drawings and as described herein, for the following: Centrifuge appurtenances, Pumping Systems (Sludge Pumps, Drain Sump Pump); Polymer Mix Tank/Day Tank and Appurtenances; Polymer Blending and Feed Equipment and Appurtenances; Piping, Valves, Supports, and Appurtenances; Process Control and Instrumentation 6.Yard piping improvements 7.Civil site grading, drainage, paving and landscaping/seeding improvement. 8.Decommission and remove temporary mechanical sludge dewatering system. A pre-bid conference will be held at City Hall, 177 North Birch Street, Soldotna, AK on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at 1:30 pm AKST with a site visit to the wastewater treatment facility to follow. Attendance at the pre-bid is encouraged but is not required.
