1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving bids until July 14, 2026 at 1:00 PM local time, for construction services for the Arterial - SR161 - I71 to Cleveland Avenue Phase 2, 115797, Capital Improvement Project 533003-100000 project. Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted.
This project involves the construction of mini-roundabouts at four locations on Tamarack Boulevard/Sharon Woods Boulevard and Beechcroft Road north and south of SR161 and raised medians from the service roads to the roundabouts. These improvements will include the addition of pedestrian and bike facilities, full replacement of traffic signals at the intersections of SR 161 with Tamarack Boulevard and Beechcroft Road, pavement widening and resurfacing and improvements to storm sewer, and lighting, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB).
Only pre-qualified prime contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. ODOT Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. The "prime" contractor must perform no less than 50 percent of the total original price.
The SBE Goal for this project is 8%.

The work for which proposals are invited consists of constructing new sidewalks along the east side of Binns Boulevard from approximately 410 feet north of South Stephens Drive to the existing sidewalk at the intersection of Eakin Road, and along the west side of Binns Boulevard from South Stephens Drive north to the existing sidewalk. Construction also includes curb ramps, signage & pavement markings, drive aprons, drainage adjustments, utility adjustments, a detention basin, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract in accordance with the plans and specifications set forth at https://www.bidexpress.com.

Resurfacing 2018 Project 3
The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving bids until June 26, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. local time, for construction services for the RESURFACING - 2018 PROJECT 3 project. Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted.
This contract repairs and resurfaces 88 city streets and constructs 512 ADA curb ramps along those streets. The work consists of milling the existing pavement, overlaying with new asphalt concrete, minor curb replacement, and replacing curb and sidewalk associated with installing ADA wheelchair ramps.
