The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities is receiving bids until July 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time for construction of the Division of Water’s Shamrock Drive Area Water Line Improvements, CIP 690236-100156 the work for which consists of 11,242 linear feet of 6-inch, 8-inch, 12-inch, and 16-inch water mains, as well as the replacement of privately owned lead and galvanized water service lines, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material Specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. All questions concerning this project are to be sent to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. The last day to submit questions will be July 13, 2026, 5:00 pm ET, phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com as an addendum. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. Firms must meet the mandatory requirements stated in the IFB for a bid to be considered for contract award. This project will be funded with financial assistance from the Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA) program in association with the Ohio and U.S. Environmental Protection Agencies and does include WSRLA Program specific requirements. The OEPA Diversity Goal is 5.4%.

Eastern time for construction of the Division of Water’s Home Road Water Plant project, C.I.P. The City of Columbus is accepting bids for Dublin Road Water Plant – Laboratory Upgrades, C.I.P. No. 690523‐100000 the work for which consists of demolition of existing laboratory fixtures and furnishings, installation of a temporary laboratory, relocation of the laboratory staff, renovation of the existing laboratory space, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Bids will only be received electronically by the City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities via Bid Express (www.bidexpress.com). Bids are due May 17, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. local time. Bids will be opened electronically and responding bids will immediately be posted to Bid Express as “Apparent Bids.” The responding bids will be further reviewed before any contract award is made. No public bid openings will be held pursuant to Columbus City Code Chapter 329.18.
