The City of Reynoldsburg is seeking proposals from a qualified firm, or contractor relating to implementation of the attached City Hall Master Plan Renovations. The scope of work for this project includes the following: Contract A • Base Bid: Nearly 3,000 square yards of asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs, sidewalk / curb ramp improvements, and miscellaneous pavement markings. Contract B • Base Bid: Over 62,000 square yards of asphalt rejuvenator to be applied to previous years resurfacing programs. The Engineer’s Estimate of cost for this work is as follows: Contract A • Base Bid: $ 300,000 Contract B • Base Bid: $ 90,000 This project includes two Contracts (Contract A and Contract B). The City of Reynoldsburg, Ohio is requesting sealed proposals from professional planning/design entities to create the City’s 2025 Parks and Recreation Master Plan (“the Plan”). The purpose of the Plan is to create a comprehensive document that identifies sustainable projects and programs that enable the community to maintain and expand the offerings of the Parks & Recreation Department. The Plan should be consistent with the City of Reynoldsburg’s Comprehensive Plan. Create a 1-5 year Master Plan for park facility improvements that prioritizing equitable, accessible and well-maintained park facilities throughout Reynoldsburg. Project includes an assessment of current park facilities to evaluate for accessibility and compliance with the American Disabilities Act, assessment of current safety and maintenance needs, determination of probable lifespan of current facilities and recommendations for future facility needs based upon community demographics, recreational use trends, and community interests. The project timeline for completion of the Plan is nine (9) months from the date the contract is signed by the Mayor. Demographics: The City of Reynoldsburg is a suburban community in the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area. The city has a total area of 11.24 square miles, of which 11.16 square miles is land and 0.08 square miles is water. Blacklick Creek flows through Reynoldsburg. Reynoldsburg has an estimated population of +/- 41,117. The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for 275 acres of parkland, including 7 major parks and 2.76 miles of paved multi-use trail. Public involvement is an imperative component of this project. Therefore, the consultant needs to have experience in developing and facilitating a creative and effective public participation process and will be required to work closely and communicate with local government and community stakeholders.
