2026 RFP Tree Inventory and Tree Risk Assessment
The City of Fairfield is seeking proposals from individuals and firms interested in providing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and expertise required to perform a tree inventory and tree risk assessment for the City of Fairfield. The data will be used to prioritize tree management activities throughout the city.
The intent of the City is to award a contract to conduct a tree inventory and tree risk assessment which will include an estimated 20,000 trees within the public right-of-way (ROW), City Parks,City-Owned Golf Courses, and City-Owned green spaces. Excluding public ROW, total acreage of City-Owned properties is around 950 acres. This request for proposals (RFP) outlines the minimum acceptable requirements for a comprehensive citywide street tree inventory for the City of Fairfield. One consulting firm must perform all tasks required for the inventory projects; no sub-contracted consulting firms shall be permitted.
