Mono County seeks proposals from qualified consultants or consultant teams to complete a housing element update, related rezoning, coordination with the Regional Transportation Plan, and all necessary environmental review as required under State law, in a manner consistent with the Regional Housing Needs Allocation Cycle 7 (RHNA 7) planning period (2027-2035). Concurrently, the County will update its Housing Mitigation Ordinance (HMO) and seeks proposals from qualified consultants or consultant teams to update the 2019 fee study. The fee study update should incorporate all residential and non-residential development, and use the existing methodology to calculate impacts as Inclusionary Units and in-lieu, per-square-foot fees. Proposals may be for only the Housing Element update, only the HMO update, or both.

BENTON CROSSING ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT PHASE 1 Notice is hereby given that the Mono County (“County”) Department of Public Works calls for bids from qualified General Engineering and Asphalt Paving contractors for the BENTON CROSSING ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT PHASE 1 (“Project”). The purpose of this Project is to rehabilitate approximately 7.5 miles of existing asphalt concrete pavement on Benton Crossing Road in Mono County, CA. Project limits are from the intersection with Highway 120 to approximately 7.5 miles southwest of Highway 120. A perforated subdrain will be installed with this project along with minor drainage maintenance and repairs adjacent to the roadway. Associated paint striping, and paint markings are included in the project. There is no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project.

The County of Mono (County) is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide structural debris and hazardous tree removal operations in an expedited manner while ensuring the protection of public health, safety, and the environment. These services must be provided for a 4-month term, with the option of a 4-month extension. Said services must meet all applicable Federal, State and/or Local regulations. The payment of prevailing wage is required. All Work specified in this contract shall be done in accordance with the Exhibit A.1, “Special Provisions”, Disaster Debris and Hazard Tree Removal Special Provisions, dated July 2024, as modified by this Invitation For Bids. Prior to award of the contract, the Contractor shall possess a General Class A, General Engineering license with a Hazardous Substance Removal Certification (HAZ) issued by the State of California. Contractor’s Licensing Board. Failure of a bidder to obtain the required license before award of the contract constitutes a failure to execute the contract. Proposals received from interested consultants and firms will be evaluated for cost and professional qualifications, including experience and competence deemed necessary for the satisfactory completion of requested services. The County may award up to three (3) contracts to consultants or firms to provide on an as-needed, on-call basis, the materials testing services described in Section III: Scope of Services of this RFP.
