WP Jail HVAC Project #563397
Washington Parish Is Requesting Pricing for The Jail HVAC Modernization Project located at 1002 Main Street, Franklinton, LA. 70438. Project overview includes the upgrade and modernization of the HVAC Equipment and Control Systems for the Washington Parish Jail. Improvements will extend the useful life of the Jail Facilities and improve temperature, humidity, air quality, and overall comfort levels within the occupied spaces. Project includes the removal of the one (1) existing Chiller System, two (2) Boiler Units, chilled water pumps and associated piping, Boiler Unit pumps and associated piping, and eight (8) Air Handling Units. Project to include installation of new Variable Refrigerant Flow Direct Expansion Heat Pump Systems. New Heat Pump Systems to include four (4) Condenser systems and thirteen (13) new Air Handling Units with electronic expansion valves. Project to be performed in three (3) phases requiring Temporary Cooling/Heating for the active jail facility that must be provided by contractor. Modernization of the HVAC Control Systems to include Digital Temperature Controls. Each Scope of Work will require bidding contractors to perform all Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, and Control work. A Project Schedule and Project Time Line of Activities will be required by the awarded contractor one (1) week after signed contract. Project installation work must be completed by May 31, 2021. Delay of project will accrue daily liquidated damages.

The Washington Parish Government is seeking assistance for engineering services for Disaster Recovery CDBG funds and subsequent implementation of Louisiana Watershed Initiative Grant Program. The Scope of Work for the Engineer on this project will include the services of a Professional Engineering Firm registered in the State of Louisiana, to complete Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) Study, Geo-Technical Analysis, necessary topographic surveys; a complete environmental review and environmental assessment if necessary, development of a preliminary design including plans and specifications incorporating all changes and necessary approvals, conduct all necessary data collection, prepare a final itemized construction cost estimate, and adhere to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements

Washington Parish Is Requesting Sealed Bids for The Court House HVAC Modernization Project located at 908 Washington Street, Franklinton, LA. 70438. Project overview includes the upgrade and modernization of the HVAC Equipment and Control Systems for the Washington Parish Court House. Improvements will extend the useful life of the Courthouse and improve temperature, humidity, air quality, and overall comfort levels within the occupied space. Project includes the removal and replacement of the two (2) existing Chiller Systems, one (1) Boiler Unit, one (1) Cooling Tower, two (2) Chilled Water Pump, two (2) Condenser Water Pumps, and two (2) Air Handling Units. Project to include new outside air control dampers and actuators, new 3-way control valves, and new Electric Zone Controls. Modernization of the HVAC Control Systems to include Direct Digital Controls with Front End and HMI. New lighting, ceiling tiles, and HVAC Equipment to be installed in the Council Chambers Area. Each Scope of Work will require bidding contractors to perform all Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, and Control work.
