Lake Forest Sidewalk and Road Realignment and Boston Mills Road Multi-Use Path (re-bid)
The proposed work on Lake Forest Drive includes the installation of approximately 1,800 LF of new five (5) foot wide Class C sidewalk, storm improvements, curbing, pedestrian improvements, driveway improvements, grading and restoration between Boston Mills Road and Essex Circle. The project also includes the realignment of Lake Forest Drive for approximately 230 feet. The proposed work on Boston Mills Road consists of the construction of approximately 3,600 feet of new 10’ wide multi-use path, including the installation of two timber boardwalks and a bridge over Lake Forest, an 8’ stone path through the Park will also be installed. Some of the existing multi-use paths along Boston Mills Road will also be used and upgraded between 115 Executive Parkway and Lake Forest Drive in the City of Hudson, Ohio.

Fiber Construction Material Procurement
The purchase will involve fiber and related material (e.g., conduit, fiber, fiber closures, splicing material, demarks, ground closures, aerial attachment equipment, etc.) for use in the construction of the Fiber to the Home project in accordance with the specifications which are on file in the office of the Assistant IT Director. Fiber to the Home - Year 1 - Area 1
The proposed work includes the installation of new fiber optic infrastructure, including approximately 16,800 lineal feet of 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit via horizontal directional drilling, 20,900 lineal feet of 2 x 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit (2 parallel conduit runs pulled together) via horizontal directional drilling, 7,250 lineal feet of new aerial fiber, approximately 54,000 lineal fiber of fiber optic cable (various strand count), the placement of underground fiber vaults and handholes, and the subsequent fiber optic cable installation and testing in the City of Hudson, Ohio. Bidders are required to provide a price for Labor and Material as well as an alternate bid for Labor Only.

Hudson Softener Media Replacement (re-bid)
The proposed work consists of the upgrading of Softener #4 at the City of Hudson Water Treatment Plant located at 572 W. Streetsboro Road. Work includes interior and exterior work, including installation of new 6” DeZurik influent and effluent valves for isolation of softener, removal and disposal of existing softener media, cleaning of softener vessel, inspection coordination by 3rd party contractor, and full media replacement, enlarging entry hatch to OSHA standards, structural rehabilitation of tank (pitwelds), disinfection, sandblasting, & epoxy coating of softener vessel. Middleton and Stow Road Sidewalk Installation, Phase 1
The proposed work consists of the construction of Phase 1 ONLY of the plans which consists of approximately 2.52 miles of five (5) foot class C concrete sidewalk, storm improvements, ADA curb ramps, lighting upgrades, intersection improvements and signing along Middleton Road between Darrow Road (SR 91) and I-480 and Stow Road between Middleton Road and Chamberlin Blvd. Future phases of sidewalk construction along the west end of Middleton Road (between Valley View Road and Darrow Road) and Stow Road (between Chamberlin Blvd. and I-480) will be completed at a separate time under a separate contract. The project also includes driveway improvements, curb installation, necessary grading and restoration, water quality improvements and pavement repairs in the City of Hudson, Ohio.
